In the development of the gastronomic origin of the territory of western Paraná, he discovered that the main subject was the Guarani Indian who, due to the colonization suffered by the Iberian conquerors and consequently the refuge of the Jesuit priests, transformed his universe into missionary. Cultures and social adaptations and especially the formation of the territory designed the food culture of today. This work makes an approach to the geographical territorialities of the main cities of western Paraná, and presents the relationship of cultural hybridism suffered throughout history, and shows the importance of relations between the subjects involved in social conflicts and migrations, time for survival or economic reasons. Faced with the complexity that involves cultural geography, this work goes from the empirical presented by the municipal festivities to the brief report in the specific bibliography, reaching the actuality of the gastronomic origin and its representativeness of the territory of western Paraná.
