Katie Moylan is a Lecturer in the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Leicester. She approaches research and teaching from an interdisciplinary theoretical standpoint, incorporating medium-specific analyses of television and radio alongside critical approaches drawn from cultural studies, literary theory, media studies, migration studies and sociology. She is on the editorial board of the Radio Journal and belongs to the Steering Group for the MeCCSA Radio Studies Network. Her previous book, Broadcasting Diversity: Migrant Representation in Irish Radio was published by Intellect in 2013.
