She loved integrating art with core subjects while teaching her elementary age students. After retiring from teaching she became an avid quilter; winning many awards for free motion quilting. She now enjoys much of her time capturing emotions in scripture through her watercolor paintings. Other life joys are sewing, quilting, walking with her dogs, berry picking and spending time with her family and friends.
