Aware of this reality, the investigation into the use of Communication and Expression Techniques in the production of the covers of the newspaper Notícias was justified. These techniques are the basic elements of written production in all languages. As well as being suitable for readers, scholars and professionals in the field of journalism, the study aims to broaden knowledge about how newspapers are produced and their importance as a source of information and training in the proper use of the Portuguese language.
