Autorenporträt
David Gaudet has been teaching marketing at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, AB, since 2004. He is the co-author of Canada's bestselling marketing textbook, "MKTG: Principles of Marketing," and has contributed to four other textbooks in North America. As an entrepreneur since the early '90s, David is the founder of multiple businesses ranging from marketing, marketing research, and branding, to real estate, and has given countless talks at entrepreneurial, ed-tech, and leadership conferences across Canada and the United States. He is a passionate trumpeter of small businesses, and working with their founders on everything from strategy-building to storytelling. He began podcasting in 2018, which led to the creation of this book, and to date has produced over 600 podcast episodes within the shows "The Daily Undoing" and "Background Noise." David's personal life revolves around his family: wife Anne-Marie and children Eva and Gabby. When not hanging with them, he can be found before dawn's early light maintaining a somewhat psychotic running regimen, or ducking out for a motorcycle ride (usually in the daylight).
