He is the bright and the morning star, Revelation 22:16 states: "I, Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and the morning star." Just as the morning star rises before dawn . . . Christ is the day star that arises in our hearts. His light dispels all darkness. He is the truth and the life, the eternal life of salvation. He is the only potentate and in Him all things consist. He is our provider, sustainer, healer, comforter and Sovereign Lord. We have unspeakable joy because of His abiding love. Jesus is the messianic deliverer that ushered in the gospel and reconciled us back to our heavenly Father; AND He is the sure prophecy that will usher in the dawn of a new day . . . a brighter day . . .
