Maureen Llewellyn has taught early childhood special education in the Fox C6 School District in Arnold, Missouri for over 20 years. She has her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from St Louis University, and a Master's Degree in Deaf Education from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, Tom, her two daughters Abby and Katie and her dogs Millie and Clover. Les the Leprechaun was born over 20 years ago, when Maureen was looking for St. Patrick's Day stories to share with her students. Unable to find a story that fit the bill for her students, she began writing her own...fast forward to the birth of Les the Leprechaun. Les, in the chaos, discovers St. Patrick's Day has been misplaced, and he sets out on an epic adventure, to reclaim his day. Les stumbles upon holiday after holiday, with no luck of claiming his day...until one day, when he finds he has the Luck of the Irish on his side!
