Ndu~cu~ wa Ngu~gi~ has a B.A. in Black Studies from Oberlin College, Ohio, a M.Ed. and an Ed.S in Teacher Leadership from Mercer University, Atlanta, Georgia. He is the author of City Murders, a novel, published by the East African Educational Publishers. City Murders was short-listed for the Jomo Kenyatta Prize for Literature (2015). His second novel, The Dead Came Calling was published by EAEP in 2018.
