Author Doug Brooks was born and graduated from Pauls Valley, Oklahoma after which he attended the University of Oklahoma and went on to incorporate many years of Information Technology into his career. He is an avid science fiction fan and put his years of knowledge from science and technology that he had accumulated over the years into the scientific accuracy of his book, "The Death of the Son".
