O W LÁAV is a Canadian writer from Toronto. A graduate of the Universities of Waterloo, Toronto, and Oxford, Láav worked as a financial analyst, machine learning researcher, and high-school teacher. He's lived on three continents, and will probably keep moving around and reinventing himself whenever he gets bored. Láav currently resides in Newark NJ and works in data science, but finds the time to write whenever he can. The Depresso Trilogy is Láav's first full-length novel. His first book, Modern Sadness: Short Stories, was released in 2020.
