Award-winning CEO Tomeka Allen of I Inspire Productions, has worked as a writer, director, lyrical composer and choreographer of film/theater/music since 2013. Her first two short films achieved global recognition as official selections in many film festivals including the Cannes Indie Film Awards in Europe. In 2022, she won her first ACE (Artists Celebrating Excellence) Award in North Carolina for her short film, "I Am Sarah Baartman."As a youth, she wrote poetry and a few novellas. "The Details: Opening Olivia's Box" is her first published novel. Throughout her life, she has been a lover of people and always strives to inspire. She currently lives in North Carolina with her family and loved ones.
