Students will practice lifetime learning skills--finding, analyzing, and utilizing information as they read "The Developing Child." They will also learn about a variety of career opportunities related to the content of each chapter. Students will learn child development theory as it relates to parenting and workplace applications. Students and teachers will have several new components to accompany this edition of "The Developing Child." The "Vocabulary Puzzlemaker CD-ROM" provides crossword, word search and jumble puzzles. Puzzles may be printed out, or done on the computer. Students can use the new "Observations Guidebook" along with the "Observations CD-ROM" providing video vignettes. Teachers have a new set of 48 full-color "The Developing Child Transparencies" to accompany "The Developing Brain" booklet.
