To use bibliometric techniques to position a subject is of primary importance especially in the patent field. This is a way to struggle against the technical illiteracy. In some cases the patent analysis can be complemented by the study of scientific publications. This is what we do with Pubmed. All the databases which can be formatted to present a structure able to be recognized by a computer can be analyzed. We choose the Pubmed database because its query is free. This is a plus for the developing countries. Biblometrics is also a way to promote innovation, since it shows to people various development most of time unknown from the user, this promote new ideas, to innovate and many times this bring the stakeholders of an economic area to enter in a process of pre-clusterization.
