The story takes us back to New York in the 1950s where, within a few short city blocks, a tug-of-war is going on among four engaging people - two Guys and two Dolls - not able to strike a sensible balance between matrimony and gambling, navigating their individual priorities tenaciously, even perilously, in "The Dicey Brawl".

Living in Europe and South Florida, Kenneth W Paderewski was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1954, schooled in Bristol and graduated University of Maryland, BA. Before becoming self-taught composer, lyricist and playwright, Kenn served years with NATO forces in Europe in the Seventies, as well as, having served with Marines in Quantico, Virginia in the Eighties; then in the Nineties he began an administrative career in the still predominately analogue music industry, which included long years submerged at the lower level of Les Bider's Warner Music Publishing operation. THE DICEY BRAWL is the author's first attempt at creating light stage musical fare in a style of Broadway's golden "pre-digital" past.
