Autorenporträt
Kurt Schwartz is an avid runner, ex-Bostonian and New England Patriots fan living in Manhattan (not easy!). He's also a new grandpa struggling with what his first granddaughter should call him (even harder!). The motivation for The Dinersaurs came from frequent visits to the Dinosaur Pavilion at New York's Museum of Natural History (don't be overly impressed, he lives just three blocks away), where he surveyed hundreds of children from all over the world. When asked "What did the dinosaurs eat?" an overwhelming percentage of children (and way too many parents!) answered "people". Old enough to have actually roamed among dinosaurs and a consummate "foodie" (his wife favors "glutton"), there's no one on earth more qualified to give impressionable young readers the true paleontological answer-"hamburgers, hotdogs and, of course, cheesy fries!"
