The main objective of this research was to analyze the discourse of doctoral theses on educational research in Venezuela, in the context of communicational hermeneutics from De Bruyne's Quadripolar Model (1974), as the reference and the investigation of hermeneutic phenomenology. of Jurgen Habermas (1987) as a sustained valuable reference in the communication that the selected theses manifest so that the interpretations and reflections contribute to review, reread the guidelines of the investigative practices from the problems of the methodology and the dynamics of the investigation in the social sciences specifically. As a result, it is stated that a deep reflection and a greater understanding of the importance and significance and re-signification of the language dimension of the communicative action of discursive language in doctoral theses must be carried out, as well as finding inadequacies that must be reread, in the serene, technical and coherent use of research approaches. Epistemological, theoretical and methodological training is required as preponderant.
