This works tries to shed some light about the legal position of Turkey's intervention in the Island, and at the same time looking at a likely solution to the political deadlock between the two Cyprus communities in the Island.The works also takes a look at how the Cyprus issue is seen to affect Turkey's EU membership and concludes that there is need for a settlement of the age long dispute in the Island.

Born on the 24th February,1972 in Zaria,Nigeria. And attended Saad Zungur Primary School in Bauchi, and Federal Government colleges Azare and Okigwe in Nigeria. The author obtained a B.A and an M.A in history from University of Maiduguri and Abuja respectively and a Ph.D in International relations from Yildrim Beyazit University Ankara, Turkey.
