Andrew Isaacson is an internationally known artist. He has everything the world can offer: fame, fortune and all the trappings. But, after a chance meeting with a penniless orphanage worker at a charity auction, Andrew is surprised to learn his artwork has a prophetic bent. For the first time, Andrew realizes there could be more to his life than the here and now. His business partner, Stella Manchester, has managed his career, and him, for many years, but Andrew courageously decides it is time for a change. What he doesn't realize is she has no intention of letting him go without paying a high price. Since an artist's body of work typically increases in value after the individual dies, Stella resolves to maximize her partner's value in dramatic fashion. The diabolical plan goes awry, and Andrew is on the run with hardly more than the clothes on his back. What lies ahead is beyond anything Andrew could have imagined in his wildest dreams, or nightmares.
