The Divine Covenants is a careful expository study of the covenants in Scripture: Everlasting, Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Siniatic, Davidic, and Messianic (the New Covenant). Through discussions of Scripture texts, patterns (such as types, promises, and fulfilment), and doctrines (such as law and gospel distinctions), the reader will come to appreciate the importance of the Old Testament covenants in leading up to Christ's New Covenant. PUBLISHERS FOREWORD The publisher of this volume became a Christian on the 16th January 1970 after he called out to God for help, asking Jesus to Please help him. His life was turned around overnight to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. His story is told in his book, CONVERTED ON LSD TRIP, by David Clarke and, 'BIERTON STRICT AND PARTICULAR BAPTISTS, both listed under FURTHER PUBLICATIONS, at the back of this book. Within one year of his conversion, from a life of crime and immoral living to, Christ, he soon discovered many differing and opposing views of those who acknowledged the gospel. He met with opposition from those of a Pentecostal persuasion because he ordered a copy of A.W. Pink; The Sovereignty of God, from a Christian Book Shop in Lowestoft, in England and he was then labelled a Calvinist. Further to this The Divine Covenants became a great help to the publisher and is a recommended read for all Christians, along with all those publications listed in our FURTHER PUBLICATIONS LIST at the end of this book
