Sybil Watters is the daughter of Swiss immigrants and an "Okie" by birth. Watters is a practicing attorney with a lifelong love for reading and writing fiction. Watters has written numerous articles and short stories on various topics of interest to include the law, "chic-lit," paranormal fantasy and satirical pop-culture. She is a regular guest post author on many blog sites. Watters's current project, The DIXIE Series, is gritty, new-adult, deep-south fiction, a region for which Watters has a passionate fascination. DIXIE, Book One: Open Roads was released to critical acclaim nationwide for Watters's authentic use of southern slang and true-to-life, young-adult angst amidst a tumultuous time and venue.
