This Historical chronicle handles measures taken by the UN-refugee organ in the settlement of refugees from Central African Republic within the East Region of Cameroon. The first part, takes a look at background of the study. The second, looks at the legal norms, binding refugee status. Chapter three examines the different paradigms of refugees-resettling scheme. The fourth looked at the problems faced by the refugees and the impact of resettlement (settlement) of the refugees within the East Region of Cameroon.

NKATOW MAFANY Christian is a Ph.D Student in the University of Yaounde 1-Cameroon in History of International Relations, Sub Specialty: HUMANITARIAN ACTION.
