"With all due respect, sir. Have you lost your mind?!" That was the response of Ross Carter when Cadet Captain Keanyn Mathews revealed his plan to have is team cut directly through the Albemarl Swamp in order to gain the advantage over the other teams competing for victory in the "Swamp Maneuver." That victory would go a long way in placing them, at graduation, with a commission on the earth's contribution as a new member of the Galactic Legion, The Starship Cosmic Mall. However, there was a small but determined group dedicated to it's failure and they would stop at nothing short of sabotage!

Autorenporträt
Mr. Tuskey was born in 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia, to hard-working parents who instilled in him the sound values of that generation. He received a comprehensive spiritual education and taught a public-speaking class for some twenty-five years. He developed a love of reading in the ninth grade when his English teacher had the class read Dickens' Great Expectations and discuss it. His love of literature and his vivid imagination moved him to think about writing a story of his own. after several attempts, it culminated in a dream he had no intention of writing about-until he told his wife the dream. He now happily lives with her, approaching forty-six years of marriage, in a small town some fifteen miles outside of Savannah, Georgia.
