G.E. Gorman (B.A., M. Div., S.T.B., Dip. Lib., M.A., A.L.A.A. ) is Lecturer and Graduate Course Coordinator in the School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University, Riverina, where he has been a colleague of Edward Reid-Smith's since the mid-1980s. He is the author of more than fifty articles in various fields and of several books, the most recent including Guide to Current National Bibliographies in the Third World (2nd rev. ed., K.G. Saur). He is an editor of The African Book Publishing Record, Library Acquisitions: Practice and Theory, and Riverina Library Review and is General Editor of Bibliographies and Indexes to Religious Studies (Greenwood), Topics in Australian Library and Information Studies (Centre for Information Studies), and Topics in Library and Information Studies (Butterworth).
