The Symphony Orchestra of Galicia celebrates 25 years of existence and in this time has developed an important educational and cultural work. This paper tries to elucidate the impact that OSG has had on its environment through its different educational programs and how these programs have evolved over time to adapt to the new circumstances. This research pays attention not only to the educational work of the orchestra itself, but to the links with legislative changes and other educational and musical institutions that are part of the musical panorama of the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
