The area of study is the southeastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. The objective of the present book is to study the hydrographic and acoustic features in front of the Egyptian coast of the Mediterranean Sea using intensive data set. Intensive hydrographic data were obtained from different sources. Hydrographic data include the temperature, salinity and depth in the study area. A computer program for exploration and graphical display of oceanographic data profile was prepared. The software runs on PCs under Windows (98/2000/NT/XP) software. The constructed program lets the user interactively browse through the large sets of station data. It allows producing high-quality station-maps. Three software were used in the analyses of data: ARMY TECHNOLOGY is a computer program for hydrographic data presentation and calculation. SURFER-7.0 was used for mapping the data. MATLAB was used for preparing the vertical cross sections.
