The general picture that emerges is that nurses are somewhat dissatisfied with their job, with the major sources of dissatisfaction being the physical working conditions, the pay and to some extent the workload and this support some of the earlier studies which reinforce their importance in the workplace. In addition the findings demonstrate that the age of nurses and experience have a strong positive relationship with job satisfaction as opposed to occupational level and gender.It should be understood that job satisfaction of nurses in this drastic time of HIV/AIDS is very important because, if nurses are affected the whole society is affected. Therefore the findings of the current study will help the government to design strategies that will increase the level of job satisfaction among the nurses in the public health care sector.
