The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of acute consumption of 6 mg melatonin on the time of exhaustion during a submaximal-activity and also the maximum oxygen consumption during an increasing activity in female students of Shahid Chamran of Ahvaz University. 13 female subjects (21.5 ± 1.29 years old, 58.36 ± 2.69 kg and vo2max 39.98 ± 4.17 mg / kg / min ) were used in two complementary steps (6 mg / Melatonin) and placebo (starch capsules).
