This five-chapter book elaborates on the effects of Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) styles on second language vocabulary retention of Iranian English learners as foreign language (EFL) learners. Based on a comprehensive and analytic review of the related literature on the learning styles and vocabulary retention as well as their historical and current trends, a comprehensive description of the participants, research setting, instruments, procedures of data collection and data analyses is presented. Detailed statistical analyses and testing process of the hypothesis of the study, based on the obtained results are provided in chapter four. In the fifth chapter, conclusions, implications, and suggestions are presented; therefore, syllabus designers and textbook writers as well as language teachers, practitioners, and researchers in language teaching and learning can benefit from this book.

Fatemeh Vasheghani Farahani holds an M.A. in TEFL at Islamic Azad University, South Tehran Branch in 2015. She is interested in teaching English in elementary schools, as she is experienced in creating new ways for teaching children. Her ability to acquire and keep students' attention can be her main key to success in teaching English.
