Our work is about neglecting listening skill in preparatory year at university, the prelude is about the importance of listening skill in English language , then we did questionnaire on students about their experience in learning this skill and analysed the results by using SPSS program. Data was collected by mean of questionnaire and conducted on the 4th and the 6th levels, 15 students were selected for the study. The results of the study shows that 60% were agreed that neglecting listening skill does affect their listening comprehension, and their performance in last listening exam were influenced in which there are 26% showed that their performance were poor.
