Tissue and intestinal nematodes (Round worms) are known to cause chronic and debilitating patho-physiological changes in bodies of hundreds of millions of infected occupational and industrial workers worldwide. Indeed, these worms ruin many people's careers, businesses, business plans and aspirations, educational and intellectual achievements; they also ruin marriage and family relationships. Moreover, the chronicity of these infections often requires the use of Blood transfusion therapy, with all its associated, inherent health hazards. These hazards include: exposure to disease agents which often cause infections such as Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, Brucellosis, Syphilis, Malaria, Toxoplasmosis, African Trypanosomiases and American trypanosomiasis. Further, these infections result in huge hospitalization bills and health insurance premiums for specialized health care. Thus, appropriate control and preventive measures need to be taken seriously by the general public, who may be exposed.
