Ambaye Ogato received his PhD in Social Anthropology from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU ).Before joining the department of Conflict and Integration at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle, Germany, he was a lecturer in Addis Ababa University in the department of Social Anthropology.
