Autorenporträt
Jordan Plevnes was born in 1953 in Macedonia. He writes plays, novels, poetry, and essays, and his works have been translated into over fifty languages. His spiritual idealism is closely linked to the myth of the Balkans as the heart of Europe. Since 1988 he has lived in Paris, where he taught creative writing, and from 2000-2005, served as Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to France, Spain, Portugal, and UNESCO. Since 2007, he has been president of the private University of Audiovisual Arts - European Film Academy ESRA, Paris-Skopje-New York.
