Autorenporträt
Cathy Blacksmith was born Cathy Gamble. She attended McEachern High school and she is a passionate individual who is always willing too help others and her writing reflects this. Working with children has always been her calling and after retiring from the school system decided to pursue her other passion of writing. She is a born again Christion and knows that without God she would not be where she is today. Cathy grew up in Marietta, Georgia and presently lives in Paulding County, Georgia with her husband of 20 years, Ferrell Blacksmith, her daughter, Brandi Gamble and her father, Sydney Gamble. Cathy's mother, Linda Matson, lives in Ohatchee, Alabama. She would like to thank her parents for always being there for her and always believing in her. Her husband who has stood by her side always and has been her support thru all things good and bad and her daughter who is her heart. Donnie Adams is a professional Physical Education teacher and has taught 15 years for the Paulding Co. School District. He is also a part-time artist . Donnie is married to his lovely wife Brittainy and they have two boys Lincoln and Wyatt. Donnie grew up in Cedartown, Georgia where his parents still reside. Donnie is now a resident of Paulding Co., Georgia. Donnie loves to spend time with his family, enjoys fishing and has a deep passion for the Georgia Bulldogs.. Donnie would like to thank Brittainy, Lincoln, and Wyatt for making his life complete and encouraging him to use his artistic abilities. Donnie would also like to thank Cathy Blacksmith for recognizing his artistic talent and providing him the opportunity to be the illustrator for this book.
