He has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, as well as professional credentials in project management (PMP) and business analysis (PMI-PBA). Before migrating to Canada in 2011, he had worked as an electrical engineering professor and as a senior executive in various roles in industry and government. Teaching honed his skills at simplifying and being clear. As an executive, he learned to translate technical things in terms that management could understand.
