The Angel of the Lord says, "Blessed are those who fear God; their children will be mighty in the land." The Angel of the Lord says, "Children are a gift from God." It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and Tracy and Cindy have just gotten out of church service. Youth Pastor Barry Griffith taught the sermon at Fellowship Community Church in Jamestown, New York. The gals are thrilled to have a new Youth Pastor who has love and compassion for the congregation. Cindy and Tracy co-manage the local pet store, serving a community of twenty-five thousand, and have been close friends for quite a while. Sadly, Cindy's stepdad, Lionel, was murdered a few weeks ago in a robbery attempt. Family and friends attended his funeral last Saturday. He was the pillar of the community, a successful businessman, and supported various charitable organizations. Barry recently moved from Eastern New York with his five-year-old daughter, Bridgette, whom he virtually raised by himself. He was invited by Cindy and Tracy to join them for a pizza party at the pet store after church service. Barry walks in last, "Sorry I'm a bit late but stopped to pick up some lemonade and iced-tea. So, Hi, everyone."

Autorenporträt
I became acutely aware in 2017 of the many emotional difficulties people have in their life. Difficulties usually stemming from depression, leading up to a constant affliction. These afflictions appear as a cover-up masking the underlying pain. Afflictions come in many different flavors, alcohol, smoking, drugs, sexual conquests, and many more. But when they grip hold of a person, it is impossible to eradicate oneself from that bondage. In my prayer time, I sought guidance as to how I could even remotely help those with afflictions. Through the stories and characters of the Cedar Creek County Series, you'll read how these ordinary people find Jesus, and by His power through them, overcome their bondage to addiction. These stories are for anyone who doesn't believe that Jesus is real. For anyone who doesn't believe the gift of healing by the power of Jesus is authentic. May the events and characters speak to you as they unfold throughout the stories So, you know, overcoming addictions by the power of Jesus Christ is real. I know so. I am living proof....Brandon J Rosenberg
