Autorenporträt
MAEGWEN SALLEY-MASSIE is the author of The Emerald Queen Rises, The Mammoth Awakens, and The Serpent Emerges. She will be writing four other books to complete this series. She grew up in the Pee Dee Low Country of South Carolina with her loving parents and sister. Her childhood was spent mainly outdoors: building forts, riding horses, playing capture the flag, riding ATVs, and playing volleyball. She began writing The Emerald Queen Rises during the pandemic as therapy and since then fell in love with writing her high fantasy series. She is a woven polypropylene specialist by day, COO of 963 Film Group, and a fantasy fiction author by night. Her favorite food is sushi, and she loves to travel the world. Maegwen currently lives in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with her husband, Kyle, their cat, Khaleesi, and their new Australian Shepherd, Pogue.
