Autorenporträt
Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D., is the world's leading expert on the integrative medical approach to overcoming Alzheimer's disease. President and medical director of the Alzheimer's Prevention Foundation International, Dr. Dharma is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine and is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management. In 1981, after meeting his spiritual teacher, Yogi Bhajan, he cast aside his hospital gown and sterile gloves to become an American Sikh. Sikhism is a progressive spiritual religion with over 20 million followers worldwide. At that time, he realized that he no longer had to use powerful drugs to put people to sleep, but rather, could help them wake up and heal their body, mind, and spirit. A medical pioneer, Dr. Dharma's work on longevity, meditation, and spiritual transformation is now considered state-of-the-art.
