On the night of November 19th, 2010, an unarmed and disabled man named Tommy Mullins was shot and killed by his neighbor from the point-blank distance of thirteen feet. The author also shares great memories and photographs from her son's life, revealing the tragic real-life sadness that accompanies the reckless and cruel taking of another person's life.
