The author was born in Ethiopia on 13th May l973. He attended his higher education at Addis Ababa University (AAU) & was awarded MA in Geography & Environmental Studies, and PhD in Socio-economic Development Planning and Environment. The author is currently teaching courses and engaging in research works at Mizan-Tepi University (MTU), Ethiopia.
