English for specific purpose (ESP) is one of those approaches which emerged during the 1960s and 1970s. It takes a particular group of learners needs into consideration. So, business and economics stream students have their own english language needs. Based on this, the main aim of the research was to assess the English language needs of the students of Accounting and Finance department in their academic and future profession. To achieve the aim, three groups of sources of information were selected. Third year students of Accounting and Finance department were selected using available sampling and employees and employers were selected using purposive sampling. In the study, two instruments were used to gather information about the language needs of students. They were a 5-point Likert scale questionnaires for students and employees and a semi-structured interview for all groups. The analysis of the data was made with the help of frequency and percentage. The data were analysed both quantitatively and qualitatively.
