The book is an investigation into the mastery of the use of the English verbal group among Nigerian Learners in selected senior secondary schools most especially in the Yoruba speaking part of Nigeria. The data involves four purposive-fully selected senior secondary schools located in the historical Yoruba town of Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The book identifies various occurrences of English verbal group errors, using Error and contrastive analyzes theories. In addition to this, the book presents various pedagogical inputs in order to minimize the leaning problems of verbal group in English most especially those inherent in second language English situation.
