Autorenporträt
Judd Palmer writes and draws things. He lives with his wife Mercedes and his young son Max in a blue house near the sea in a city called Victoria, which is on a huge island off the west coast of Canada. He's been shortlisted three times for the Governor General's Award for Children's Literature, and likes to sing sad songs on the banjo. Steve (Pityu) Kenderes paints and makes sculptures, and lives on the other side of the whole country in a town called Pictou in a place called Nova Scotia. He lives in a rickety old house overlooking the sea with his partner Jen, many dogs and cats and stray animals, plants, and moss. He is a great lover of colour; it is his favourite thing, really. He also loves old black and white photographs, and imagining the colourful world the people in the photographs lived in. He's part of the Old Trout Puppet Workshop, a company of artists who do all kinds of things together, like making puppet shows, operas, films, books, sculptures, and music, and performing all over the world.
