This book is a valuable tool for the student of the Bible. This book is a valuable tool for the student of the Bible. As I have preached this to many audiences, I noticed many of them would begin to write notes so that they could retain what they were learning. Hence, my purpose in writing all of the Commentaries is to help people learn the Word of God. Galatians has been called "The Liberty of the Gospel" by many because it truly brings liberty to the troubled soul. I have termed it "The Grace of the Gospel" because Paul explains what grace is, how it works, and what it does for those who accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. In this letter, we find grace to help in times of need (trouble) and are told that as God's children, we can come boldly into His Throne room to seek His face. In this letter, we find that showers (graces) us with His benefits and blessings - not because we deserve it - but because He loves us. This book is valuable for everyone but especially for those who want to understand more of the ways of the Lord on behalf of His people. The reader will find explanations of words but no condemnation from this writer for "We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God" and we all need Him, whether we are a believer or an unbeliever.
