Maia Kumari Gilman is an award winning Registered Architect and author of a love story about fracking, The Erenwine Agenda: a novel. She is a contributor to Thrive Global, a worldwide wellness movement, and is an abstract artist who speaks, writes and teaches on creativity and architecture. Trained as a Reiki Master Teacher as well as a geographer and architect, Maia's work is informed by wellness strategies at every scale. She maintains a private architectural practice in residential, commercial and institutional design and works as a consultant to larger firms on design and construction administration. With a background that ranges from the single family home to the scale of United Nations' consultations, Maia is poised to address the challenges of the day through design. She works on short and long term consultations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania where she holds current licenses to practice architecture. She maintains a LEED-AP BD+C accreditation and is NCARB-certified to gain reciprocal licenses to practice architecture across North America.
