Autorenporträt
John Carrick is a graduate of Oxford University where he studied modern languages (French and German). Now an ordained Presbyterian minister, he has served in two churches, in the UK and the USA respectively. For eighteen years he taught at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in South Carolina where, in 2009, he was appointed professor of homiletics. For thirty years he has exercised an extensive preaching ministry in the southeast United States. He is the author of The Imperative of Preaching; The Preaching of Jonathan Edwards; and Jonathan Edwards and the Immediacy of God.
