Autorenporträt
VASSILIKI N. KOUTRAKOU is Lecturer in European Studies and Director of the Centre for Research in European Studies at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. She originally comes from Greece where she studied economics and business administration. She researches and teaches on globalisation and international organisations, the European Union as an international actor, and European High Technology Policy. Publications include: Technological Collaboration for Europe's Survival, and various contributions to edited books and journals. LUCIE A. EMERSON works in London and Brussels as `Understand' Programme Manager for the Global Theatre Network. GTN boasts as one of its products the Brussels CyberTheatre which part hosted the video-conference which led to this publication. Amongst her work for GTN, Lucie Emerson develops the section Understand Europe of the website www.nirvanet.com which includes animated maps of Europe from Michael Emerson's book Redrawing the Map of Europe.
