Ciara McGuane nació en Irlanda en la década de 1980 y tuvo su infancia durante la época del Tigre Celta. A medida que crecía, su interés en la política internacional crecía. Tiene una licenciatura con honores en Sociología y Política y Geografía, así como una maestría con honores en Estudios Internacionales. La Srta. McGuane vive actualmente en Londres y trabaja en el campo de la educación.
