In the year 2016 in Havana, capital of the Republic of Cuba, the agreement for the definitive termination of the internal armed conflict in Colombia that lasted more than 55 years was signed. The agreement was sealed between the Colombian government led by President Juan Manuel Santos and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People's Army (FARC-EP). In order to achieve a stable and lasting peace, international cooperation is considered as one of the financing tools and the materialization of what was agreed. Since the signing of this agreement, different countries and governmental organizations and NGOs have made contributions to its implementation, one of the most relevant actors being the European Union. Through the European Union Fund, several projects have been designed, financed and implemented in the areas most affected by the armed conflict. Therefore, this report seeks to analyse one of the projects managed by the European Union Fund for Peace in Nariño, describing the functioning and objectives of the Fund and the selected project, and learning about its results to date and its relationship with the post-agreement.
