Colin D Evans is a retired British man. He now lives in Portugal and enjoys writing. A child during and after World War Two when everything was rationed and in short supply. Like every other family, he and his siblings endured so much hardship, hunger and cold winters. He often entertained his sisters by making up and telling stories as they huddled around the only fire in the house. As a father, he taught his sons the game of 'Carry on the Story.'
