My name is Javier Chavez and I was born with cerebral palsy. When doctors told my parents that perhaps with knee surgery I could walk, my mother did not hesitate to move from Puerto Penasco Sonora, Mexico to Salinas, California. Not only did I have my knee surgery in California, I also received my education there. The best teacher in my life has been my mother. Her love has not only set me up for success but has challenged me to become a stronger man. When you read The Evidence of Her Love, you will experience my life's journey.
